FOVE is the first Virtual Reality Head-mounted Display that utilizes eye tracking. It was created by a Tokyo-based startup.
The Samsung Gear VR 2016 model was released alongside the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, and features minor changes. The SM-R323 model comes with an additional field of view, increased cushioning, a flat trackpad, and changes to the cover and body of the device to reduce glare. The model also utilizes USB-C connector. USB-C connector is slightly larger than the micro-B connector. It enables reversible plug orientation. Data speeds have been increased to 10Gbps.
