The Samsung Gear VR is a mobile virtual reality headset developed by Samsung and Oculus. The headset was released on November 27, 2015. Gear VR works with 2015 or newer Samsung smartphones with Android Lollipop 5.0.1 and newer. This edition has improved ergonomics and a redesigned touchpad for easier navigation.
The StarVR headset comes from Starbreeze Studios. They have partnered with Acer to release StarVR Head-Mounted Display.
